Love Hotel

Something between us happened,
didn’t know what it was.
Something really happened
and somehow left a scar.
But nothing is too strange
not to happen again.
So I left without a warning
just to keep the thing sane.
The morning-breeze was blowing
and the street was on my mind.
The memory of you
still was alive.

I cried out this song
just before I went
into the lonely body
of a room without an end.
I could not live experience,
I could not comprehend
anything more
than to come to an end.
Sun and dust a-burning
in my heart without a shore.
All your sweetest glory
drowned cheaply in a show.

The Love Hotel was burning
on that day of my life.
Nothing could resist
another painful night.
I gather some pieces
of a dirty worn-out cloth.
I ramble through the cities,
I keep you in my heart:
The noon was hot again,
I dreamed and felt no pain.
Moving on that road
not knowing any end.

The fragments of oblivion,
the search almost in vain,
the things that have no meaning,
the unimportant tale,
they are a mystic story
and the key without a death.
It’s strange to see the days
digging out another grave.
Stormy weather coming,
the clouds hiding the blue.
Behind the Sun is burning:
child, gather round the True.

The Love Hotel was burning
on that day of my life.
Nothing could resist
another painful night.
I gather some pieces
of a dirty worn-out cloth.
I ramble through the cities,
I keep you in my heart:
The noon was hot again,
I dreamed and felt no pain.
Moving on that road
not knowing any end.
