The human wonder
in a way might be you.
But then, sometimes, I see:
you might not be so true.

Trouble tends to stick,
I tell you it’s a trick.
There’s always some mess
that makes you say ‘yes’.

But ‘yes’ sometimes is ‘no’
when truth is in trouble
and you kinda miss the ball.
I know you, it’s a pity you don’t know.

We can’t share the trouble
if we don’t do it in style.
How can we do anything
if we don’t step out of the lie?

I know sometimes you can shiver
and it’s all right with me:
you are the woman wonder
if only you would see.

But wonder or not:
There is a truth above
and I’m good in rising higher
with you up to the top.
