for freedom and loving care.
My body passed through rape and murder,
war and greed and shame,
gave shelter to the enemy
and shared bed with hate.
But light dispels darkness:
it’s a little pain for a big gain,
it’s the true soul, not the ego-man,
it’s the answer of love that really can.
Light dispels darkness:

It’s the living soul that stands
for the happy laughing change.
Light dispels darkness:
understanding the way
means to walk it,
you only know what you can.

knows to be a friend,
knows to shake hands:
it’s a little pain for a big gain.
On the ruthless road of anger
I’m your Rock of Solid Gold.
Where thousands despair in falsehood
I give hope and give you true love.
Light dispels darkness:
finding the way
means to want it –
you only can give what you have.
