There is no greater joy in life
than to feel your embrace.
It is so true that one might guess
that life itself was made for it.

There is no world as great
as the one we are living in:
Fragile, tormented, tender and sweet,
no playground for absolute gods.

But peopled with living souls,
beings that know how to work,
know how to suffer and pay the price.
Love is there, greater than paradise.

Lovers are there you won’t find elsewhere,
vulnerable, simple, profound.
No heaven can cope with them.
Life is indeed love’s identity.

So I feel your embrace.
A second is more than infinity.
To see you is more than bliss.
To be, to love is true, is real.
