Michel Montecrossa is a great 21st-century New-Topical-Song writer, musician, and composer who has created more than 2500 songs and modern-classical symphonies and also is the author of many fiction, philosophy and poetry books as well as producer and director-actor of futuristic Cybermovies. Michel Montecrossa furthermore works as a revolutionary artist presenting a continuous flow of paintings and drawings which can be seen in permanent exhibitions in Germany as well as in Italy. As an active humanitarian consciousness researcher, he has founded Mirapuri, the City of Peace and Futureman in Europe, Italy as an open-ended experiment for human evolution.

Michel’s booking representative David Butterfield contacted me and suggested Michel for an interview. Michel took time out of his busy schedule to do a quick interview with Culture Fancier.

1. You have a very diverse artistic background that includes songwriting, composing, painting, writing, and moviemaking. Is there one medium that you prefer or think that you excel at over the others?
They all interact on an equal basis to evolve the consciousness.

2. Do you think it’s necessary to have a formal education in order to be an artist?
Formal education can be helpful for artwork but is not fundamentally necessary to be an artist.

3. Your work focuses on positive themes like the joy of life, love, and peace. Why is that important to you?
Joy of life, love and peace are nearest to the Creative Origin of all and are the first and foremost manifestations of this origin. Without them, no art can come into existence.

4. Who or what inspires you?
The Creative Origin.

5. What is your typical day like?
Every day is a typical day for itself so every day is something new and unprecedented.

6. On average, how long does it take you to complete an art piece, for example, a painting or writing a song?
Any time from one hour to eleven days.

7. You’ve been very prolific in your art career. Are there any dream projects that you would still like to work on?
To go on building Mirapuri, the City of Peace and Futureman in Europe, Italy

8. What has been the highlight of your career as an artist so far?
Waking up to the Great Consciousness.

9. Do you have any advice for emerging or aspiring artists?
Stay true to yourself.

10. What’s next for you?
To answer with always more love to the immensity of love given by the Creative Origin.

Michel Montecrossa is a musician, artist and writer from Gauting, Germany. His musical work embraces songs, symphonic compositions and fusions of meditation-music with poetry. His artistic work unifies various styles of painting, drawing, photography and movie-making. His multidimensional work as a writer manifests itself through poetry, philosophy and novels. Michel Montecrossa traveled to many countries and met great personalities of the cultural and spiritual life who influenced his character, art and future-oriented humanitarian commitment.

Following are his views on our questions.

Tell us something about yourself?
Since the beginning of my life I have a love for the Divine, for becoming conscious. This love and this yearning made me into an artist, musician, poet and philosopher.

What motivated you to pursue music and how did you learn it?
The thirst for Intelligence which most divinely is manifested in music. I learned music in schools and through very good private teachers.

You have quite vivid knowledge of India, how did you got interested in it?
India is an important part of the Eurasian Union that the Eurasian Continent needs, the biggest continent of planet Earth. The free union of the nations of Eurasia would be a big step forward to the future United States of Planet Earth, the gate to Space Age and a new step of Human Evolution. In this context I got interested in India and studied its culture and future potential along with the other Eurasian Nations and their cultures and future potentials.

What message are you trying to give through your music?
The message of hope.

Germans took in lots of Syrian refugees, as an artist, as a German how do you see this?
Welcome Culture is the only true answer to world wide radicalization. It must be evolved in a reasonable and effective way.

What would be your advice to people who want to go into music industry?
Never let yourself be discouraged. Stand for your Dream and the power of its Magic and be proud of it – then you will win.

Do you write songs on your own or you write them collaboratively with your band?
I write all my songs on my own and work out their performance together with my band.

What are your interests outside music?
Fine Art, Poetry, Philosophy, Consciousness Research and Futurist Moviemaking.

The artist Michel Montecrossa aims to improve the world with his music and paintings

Improving the world – isn’t this the goal of all of us? That is what Michel Montecrossa from Gauting is aiming at. He paints, makes movies, and creates songs that he hopes will touch people in a positive way. “This is something that we all need, especially now in these times of the refugee crisis.” Tonight he presents his new album with the title ‘Ich Bin Der Typ / I’m The One’ at the Garage Deluxe in Munich. Tomorrow and on Sunday, 20th September he will play concerts at his location ‘Michel Montecrossa Rock Vision Diner’ at the Danziger Str. 1 in Gauting. All who want to rock out after visiting the Oktoberfest on Saturday are welcome, the concert starts at 10 pm. The Concert on Sunday will begin at 8 pm.
Michel Montecrossa has an eye-catching look: long hair, red beard, Cowboy Hat, leather outfit. Michel Montecrossa definitely defies categorization. Beaming with energy he invented the music style of ‘Cyber-Schlager’. “A completely new music genre”, states his manager Suzie Peuker. Listening to this music style the Cyberschlager Songs could be described as Typical Songwriter songs with lots of guitars combined with electronic beats: a mix of catchy tunes, good for easy-listening. A prominent feature of this new album are the bilingual songs, half part in German, the other in English – ‘.. a quality that is quite useful in the international context as for example for students of German lessons in countries like China’, states Michel Montecrossa who counts on a great fanbase in the internet as he relates. ‘I want to get across this German kind of life-experience and feeling as something positive.’ It has nothing to do with Kitsch. ‘When I’m able to create real positive feelings with my music, then everybody can profit from it.’ It’s a way to achieve peace and love for the whole world. Michel Montecrossa lives in Gauting as well as in Italy, in the Northern part of the Lake Maggiore region. He’s also active as multimedia service provider and concert manager.

Gianni Mongrandi: What is music for you and what are your music plans for the new year?
Michel Montecrossa: Music for me is the expression of the way of love, peace and happiness. They are my music plan for the new year.

Gianni Mongrandi: Do you like this world? And if you had the possibility to change it, what would be the thing you’d change first?
Michel Montecrossa: I love the world and my first and foremost commitment is to help achieve the building of the United States of Planet Earth.”

Gianni Mongrandi: ‘Peace’ always seems to be the word unknown. How is it possible to activate – from your point of view – the mutual consent of all governments of the Earth to lay down their weapons and to no longer kill each other?
Michel Montecrossa: If all governments make the United States of Planet Earth their common goal, the weapons will be laid down and constructive collaboration in peace and unity will gain the upper hand.”

Gianni Mongrandi: What could you say to make the world understand that what people need is something to eat and not lead made into bullets?
Michel Montecrossa: Love brings peace assuring food, water, empathy and future for all. So let us all give ourselves to love.”

Gianni Mongrandi: How do you feel with yourself?
Michel Montecrossa: Happy and full of hope.”

Gianni Mongrandi: Do you sing, write and perform to make money or because you see all this simply as the thing you should do?
Michel Montecrossa: I sing, write and perform to give joy of love, peace and happiness. This is my aim.”

Gianni Mongrandi: You live since a long time in Italy. Do you think that this country will succeed in overcoming the difficulties it confronts these days?
Michel Montecrossa: Italy like any other country should work for the building of the United States of Planet Earth. Then all these problems would be solved.”

Gianni Mongrandi: Your songs also convey a message of love and peace?
Michel Montecrossa: All my songs are various ways to express the message of love and peace.”

Gianni Mongrandi: What are you better at: writing poems, composing songs or creating paintings?
Michel Montecrossa: Poetry, music and painting are for me three equally important streams of expression and I am equally successful in all of them.”

Gianni Mongrandi: What would be the moment – assuming it would ever arrive – we were to proclaim that evil has triumphed over good?
Michel Montecrossa: Love is the Good. All comes from love, it is to love that all will lead. Consequently the evil will never win.”
