Ukraine premiere of Michel Montecrossa’s stunning music art movie ‘Going to the Spirit of Woodstock Festival in Mirapuri’ at the Bomer Cinema in Kharkiv on 17th November 2010, 7 p.m.
Michel Montecrossa’s captivating music-movie ‘Going To The Spirit Of Woodstock Festival In Mirapuri’will be shown on 17.11.2010 at the historic Bommer Cinema in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city. The one-hour long movie dives deep into the thrilling feel of the annual Spirit of Woodstock Festival in Italy, an annual 10 day event with free concerts, and the cinematic art of filmmaker and musician Michel Montecrossa. Intense live-performances are followed by groovy moments with the gang, visitors and music- lovers, uninhibited poetry and stunning video art.
The ‘Spirit of Woodstock Festival’, a meeting place for the best European Rock-Bands, is taking place in the beautiful mountain area between Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta. The movie ‘Going To The Spirit Of Woodstock Festival in Mirapuri’ will be shown in original english language without subtitles.
In 2010 the Ukrainian photographer Igor Neshcheret lived for one month in Mirapuri and documented with his camera the lively interaction of Mirapuri’s thriving arts community. The movie screening will be introduced by an exhibition of his photos.
